Interscholastic athletics are an integral part of the educational process of the Freeport School District. Our goal is to develop a competitive athletic program without losing sight of educational values such as sportsmanship, health and academic achievement.

The Freeport School District has a high participation rate in a well-rounded program of individual and team sports. Freeport currently offers 70 athletic team’s that include varsity, junior varsity and modified programs for students in grades seven through twelve. Our teams and student-athletes have distinguished themselves with winning records and championships in Section VIII, and New York State competitions. Many teams have been recognized for their combined grade-point average through the NYSPHSAA team Scholar-Athlete program.

We wish all our teams a safe and healthy season. Go Red Devils!

Best Regards,

Mr. Bloom
